general questions

If you have questions that are not answered here, please send us an email and we will answer you immediately.

As a rule, we assume your own arrival and departure to the meeting point or starting hotel.

For some tours we offer guided arrivals and/or departures with overnight stops near Lyon. We are also happy to arrange contacts with other participants so that you can possibly form a group. Further information can be found on the respective tour.

We attach great importance to good food.

Half board is (almost) always included. Travelling to other countries also means getting to know other eating habits. However, Mediterranean cuisine is very well known and Spanish cuisine in particular has overtaken Italian cuisine in popularity.

Please inform us of any special requests (no meat, no fish, intolerances, etc.) when booking. We pass these requests on to the hotels or restaurants, and according to our experience so far, this also works. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee this, but we will certainly find a good solution.

Nothing is more individual than the riding style.

Riding in a group is always a compromise and usually the "weakest link in the chain" determines the cruising speed. However, our guides accommodate all driving styles and it is possible to drive faster if desired. However, we do not lose sight of the traffic rules. We explicitly offer the possibility for groups of participants to ride separately each day, depending on their riding style. However, this requires that ALL participants agree to this arrangement !

For the Andalusia and coast to coast tours we offer luggage transport with an escort vehicle for groups of 6 or more.

Depending on the tour, our groups consist of a maximum of 12 motorbikes plus guides.

Experience shows that larger groups make it much more difficult to enjoy the ride and to move on quickly! On some tours we have limited the number of participants to 8. You will find more details in the descriptions. This ensures that the entire group stays together and that we set off together and arrive together again.

Sometimes it makes sense to split the groups between 2 guides.

We always use great *** or **** hotels.

Whenever possible, we book rooms in typical hotels that are situated in a scenic location along our tours (e.g. old monasteries, castles, farmhouses, etc.). If we are going to remote areas, it can also be a simpler hotel, but one that meets our usual standard, which our regular guests know and appreciate.

Our tours can be ridden on almost any type of motorbike.

Everyone should have good control of their motorbike and be familiar with its characteristics. It doesn't matter if it's a sports bike, tourer, chopper, touring enduro, etc. Only then will our tours be an experience with a long-term effect!

Our tours take place on asphalted roads. Car parks, construction sites or occasional hotel access roads may nevertheless lead briefly over gravel.

If you have booked a rental motorbike, you will usually receive it on the day of arrival. If time permits, you should familiarise yourself with the features of the rental motorbike on this day. This is the only way to guarantee riding fun at the start of the tour.

There are regular photo stops and breaks on our tours.

The frequency depends on the stage of the day, the destination and the condition of the participants. The guide ultimately decides when and where.

The following applies to everyone: We do not leave any rubbish lying around! For smokers: Please do not throw away any butts. Each butt pollutes 40 litres of water and we want to still be able to ride here in many years.
